It has been a quiet day at our little house today. At my request my DH brought in the boxes so I could pack the Christmas tree, ornaments, village, etc away for the year. I still have the nativity water ball out. It will stay out through the month of January as will the Christmas lights on the house. I'm just never ready to pack it all up at once. The snow has fallen softly all day long. After the decorations were packed up and the vacuum run we have just been reading... Mr. S. is reading Killing Kennedy, by Bill O'Riley. It was one of his Christmas presents. I am reading one of his gifts from last year, Killing Lincoln, by the same author. Mr. S. loves history. He also received an entire set of Time-Life books on WWII. He is loving those!
The house looks clean and fresh waiting for the new year.
Wishing you a very happy New Year!
