Magic Mix

I love this stuff!!  I keep it on hand and use it for cream soups, sauces and pudding.  I use my paddle mixer attachment not whip.  The paddle works great as well.

Magic Mix

4 cups instant dry milk,
(or 2 1/3 cups non-instant)
1 cup flour, (or ½ cup cornstarch)
1 cup margarine

refrigerator 6-8 months.
Combine dry milk, flour and butter into a large bowl. Mix with electric hand mixer until it resembles corn meal. Keep mix tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to six months. Yield: 5 cups.

Magic Mix Pudding

1/2 C. Sugar
1 C. Magic Mix
2-3 T. Cocoa (optional)
2 C. Water
1 t. Vanilla

Combine Magic Mix, sugar and cocoa in saucepan and mix well. Add water, stir over medium heat until pudding bubbles. Add vanilla and beat. Cover and Cool

  1. I've heard of this stuff but have never seen a recipe or how to make it. Thank you so much for the video's and the recipe! Now I'll make some and learn to use it for all kinds of stuff. I am really interested in learning how to make my own cream soups. The canned ones have so much sodium in them and my husband is supposed to be cutting back on salt.

    Blessings,
