My great-grandmother was a seamstress. She taught 4-H sewing and taught all of her granddaughters (my mom and aunts) how to sew so that it was as lovely on the inside as the out. I remember my first sampler when I was young. And as my work was being done it would be turned over and looked at from the back as well as the front. I still love hand work today. Below are some great stitch tutorials. I can honestly say I'm learning new information from them. If you have someone that loves hand work or a young girl just starting out this might be useful.
